Welcome to our website. The AASF is a membership driven organization. We have one goal for our members, and that is to promote aviation safety whenever and wherever we can. Part of that goal is to deliver value to you, our members, in return for your membership dollars.
The AASF provides volunteers for safety programs around Alaska. We sit at the table of many meetings where aviation issues are discussed and debated, all done with volunteers. We provide scholarships to three aviation students each year to help young people achieve their dreams of flying.
Lastly, we partner with Public Television and the National Weather Service to produce a TV show that is shown each week in conjunction with the Alaska Weather program. If we help you from having just one minor incident, then your membership is, as they say in advertising, “priceless.”
